Best Content Creator and Copywriting Tools (a list curated with love)

This is my list that contains a number of resources and tools to help you nail the SEO and content game.

As a Twitter user I find many many threads that claim they have the best copywriting tools or SEO tools but it is difficult to search in all that noise. I will try to keep in this article those resources and tools that I use or happened to use for a certain project.

If you find something interesting that I miss just ping me.

Let’s dive in.

AI copywriting tools

There is a great discussion on Twitter on if or who or how content creators use such tools. In my opinion there is a demand of such tools, but their best use cases are for short form copy and for helping you moving from the “writers block”. I would say they are more of AI assistants for writing.

Writesonic

Writesonic is a content creation platform that allows you to create new content, or re-write existing content, with the help of an AI writing assistant. The AI writer helps you write content in seconds and save hours.

The AI writer tool generates new articles, blog posts, and other types of content based on your input. As with all these tools, I invite you to try it, let it create something and then decide on the quality or readability.

Copy.ai

Copy AI is an AI writing assistant that helps content writers by generating content ideas at scale. As with all the tools in the category, it is not a replacement for a human copywriter. Rather it will help you get rid of writer’s block and generate content ideas fast.

Copy.ai is an online copywriting tools that is easy to use and can generate text in seconds.

I find that lately the performance and quality of the documents generated is much better than in the past.

Content Readability Checkers

These are my favorites. These super-useful tools grade your writing vs to a Readability level.

Hemingway App

OK when talking about online readability checker Hemingway Editor – or Hemingway App for many – is my favorite and always comes first to mind.

Hemingway Editor is an online tool that helps you as a writer to edit and improve your text content.

It will highlight the readability of your text and give you suggestions on how to improve it. The app has a simple but effective interface and you can start in seconds.

See for example how the last paragraph became from this

to this:

Hemingway takes into account all aspects of good writing and readability. On how you will structure your sentence to the words you choose or punctuation. Then it will offer feedback on what you need to improve.

Headline Analyzer

Headline Analyzer is not a content readability tool per se but analyzes your headlines and offers alternatives. If you are a content writer, copywriter or want to improve your headline writing skills you will find many ideas by using CoSchedule’s tool.

It is also one of the oldest in the market.

Search Traffic Tools

You are probably used to see many data flowing around when you make a Google search. Some of the tools here will help you get a few more insights.

Answer the Public

Answer the Public will help you get search insights direct from the minds of people searching. People use it for generating content ideas and questions to answer in their content.

Google Trends

Google Trends is a great online tool by Google that analyzes the popularity of top search queries in Google Search across various regions and languages. It is also a good way to find out what people are interested in and what they care about.

Online Design or Video Tools

Online tools that save us time are getting better and better as time goes by. At the same time become more collaborative and powerful with the use of AI.

Canva

Canva is my favorite and go to solution for anything design. Especially with their latest features it is a design and collaboration powerhouse for non-design people like me 😛

Canva is an easy-to-use graphic and video design online tool that allows you to create anything. From social media images or videos, infographics, presentations, videos and even websites!

It has a huge range of templates for almost everything you can think of. It also has a huge library of fonts and graphics or videos that you can use in your designs. Did I mention I am a huge fan?

Canva is good for beginners who want to get started with graphic design but it’s also powerful enough for pros.

AI Generating Design Tools

With all these new AI tools popping up around us it is difficult to find great tools that can help me save time. Here are those that I find useful

Photosonic

Photosonic is an AI art generator. I use it for featured images from time to time. Nothing more to say here.
